This Act clarifies the responsibilities of the national government, local governments, companies, and citizens to help create an environment in which children—who will shape the next generation—can be born and raised in good health.

Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace

This Act sets out the responsibilities of the national government, local governments, and private-sector employers (general employers) to promote women’s participation and advancement in the workplace, with the aim of creating a vibrant society in which women can fully realize their individuality and abilities in their professional lives. It also establishes an obligation for employers to make efforts to implement initiatives that promote the active participation and advancement of female employees.

Having met the criteria in the areas of continued employment, working styles (including working hours), and diverse career paths, the Company has received a two-star certification.

In accordance with the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace, the Company has formulated a General Employer Action Plan and is working to promote women’s participation in the workplace.
